All people in the household or households of an enrolled child who are able to be vaccinated must be vaccinated, including recommended boosters, within 2 months of the vaccine or booster becoming available to them.
Anyone dropping off or picking up a child must wear a mask at all times while on property, and must be vaccinated.
Community Covid-19 Standards
At Rainbow Grove, we seek to center those who are frequently marginalized, and to make sure all people's needs are met, not just the majority's needs. As such, we take greater precautions than the Oregon Health Authority or CDC, and we encourage Rainbow Grove families to model that care for others outside the playschool as well. We hold the following as our community standards and expectations, while recognizing that we cannot (and would not want to) dictate or make demands:
* Wear a good fitting and high quality mask when in stores or at other indoor locations with the general public.
* Support and encourage other children and members of the household to wear a mask at indoor schools and classes.
* Wear a mask when not certain of the vaccination or exposure status of the people around you at any gathering, or if there is known non-vaccination or risk taking.
* Find ways to safely connect with your friends, family, and community, and model for your child(ren) that connection and safety don't need to be in opposition.
* Keep informed of local and global guidelines for your community's risk status, and meet or exceed those guidelines.
* Remember that while your child attends Rainbow Grove Playschool, your community includes people who are immunocompromised and high risk, and act with appropriate care and consideration.
